About Blackstock Estate

Blackstock is one of the most authentic barn-type venues I’ve ever worked in. With its rustic black walls, huge windows and amazing outside space with sheep and alpacas you cannot go wrong here. Getting ready is also one of the best I’ve seen in the years of working in similar venues. They are licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies for up to 150 guests indoors and outdoors.

Getting ready

Getting ready stress-free is key for a great wedding. The preparation room is conveniently located just next to the ceremony room and easily accessible yet nicely hidden from the view of the guests where you and your wedding party can get ready comfortably.

The Getting Ready Room: With its large mirrors and comfy sofas, this is an excellent room to get ready before the ceremony and be close to the arriving guests. It’s got a big hair and makeup station with individual mirrors, a cool free-standing long mirror, and even space to hang up your dresses or suits. Plus, there’s plenty of room for those pre-wedding photos!

Ceremonies in Tudor Wing

Take a look at their stunning barn ceremony room! It’s perfect for hosting up to 120 guests for your ceremony. This room is bathed in natural light and has a lovely view of the grounds. They’ve spruced it up with neutral colours, wooden floors, and many options for the decorations of the room.

Reception – The Granary Barn

You’ve got to check out the stunning Granary Barn! This stunning round room with a high wooden ceiling, classy drapes, and huge windows gives you an amazing view of the grounds. And guess what? It comes with its own bar! This is the spot where you can have your Wedding Breakfast for up to 120 guests.

Portraits at Blackstock Country Estate

While your guests are having some coffee and tea the team will work hard to arrange the party floor to start the night. This time is a fantastic opportunity to head out with your photographer and capture some incredible portraits.
