About Ravenswood

Ravenswood is a licensed wedding venue which seats 150 people opened in 1974 as a hotel and restaurant and is a light and spacious venue with doors that open out to the garden view. This stunning historic building enables you and your guests to enjoy your day in style.

Getting ready

Getting ready stress-free is key for a great wedding. The Rosewood Cottage is conveniently located nearby and easily accessible yet nicely hidden from the view of the guests where you and your wedding party can spend the night before.

The Getting Ready Room: With its large windows and comfy sofas, this is an excellent room to get ready before the ceremony and be close to the arriving guests. It’s got a big hair and makeup station with individual mirrors, a cool free-standing long mirror, and even space to hang up your dresses or suits. Plus, there’s plenty of room for those pre-wedding photos!

Ceremonies in The Jacobean Suite

Take a look at their newly renovated Jacobean Suite! It’s perfect for hosting up to 110 guests for your ceremony. This room is bathed in natural light and has a lovely view of the grounds. They’ve spruced it up with neutral colours, wooden floors, and a stunning fireplace to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Reception – The Princes Beatrice Suite

You’ve got to check out the Princess Beatrice Suite! This stunning round room with a wooden ceiling, classy drapes, and huge windows gives you an amazing view of the grounds. And guess what? It comes with its own bar! This is the spot where you can have your Wedding Breakfast for up to 150 guests. And if that’s not enough, the evening reception can fit a whopping 300 guests!

Portraits at Ravenswood

While your guests are having some coffee and tea the team will work hard to arrange the party floor to start the night. This time is a fantastic opportunity to head out with your photographer and capture some incredible portraits.
